Meet the MBA Association Executives.
Prior to her studies at DeGroote, Stephanie completed a Bachelor of Sciences from the University of Waterloo and a Post Graduate certificate in Human Resources Management from Sheridan college. Stephanie worked as an HR professional in several industries, including hospitality, manufacturing and oil & gas while pursuing her CHRP designation. After gaining some experience with HRIS implementation consulting, she decided it was time to further invest in developing her business acumen and decided to pursue her MBA. Stephanie’s passion for leading a group of collaborative team members and her desire to continually enrich the student experience, has set her up for success in her role as President of the MBAA. Stephanie hopes to be an effective and reliable liaison between administration, students and the MBAA throughout her tenure at DeGroote.

Prior to pursing his MBA at the DeGroote School of Business, Mac Bojin graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science and a Minor in Economics. With two years people management experience for a large Canadian telecommunication company, he discovered his passion for community involvement, collaboration, and continued education. Thrilled for the opportunity to give back to his community in his role as Internal Relations Director (MBA Association 2020), Mac strives to work in collaboration with all students, faculty and administration to influence positive and progressive change. Although Mac has not yet declared his MBA specialization, it is likely he will pursue a major related to Finance or Strategy.

Jack has a unique and diverse background. Chinese by origin, Jack was born and raised in Brazil, where he completed his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering with focus in Business Management at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. Besides that, Jack has worked in many companies with different industries, such as Energy, Retail and Outsourcing. After working at his father’s company, he developed the desire to be an entrepreneur and learn about business management, which is why he is pursuing a MBA at DeGroote. To make the most of the experience at DeGroote, Jack has been involved in on campus activities. He is committed to organizing a soccer team for the Intramurals and taking part of the MBA Association as the International Experience Director.
Shraeya is an Electrical Engineer from India with a Fellowship in property and casualty insurance. After eight years of work experience in the mining and financial services industries, she decided to pursue an MBA to sharpen her professional skills and to take her career to the next level. To grow and to open for herself the doors to thriving career opportunities, she decided to join the DeGroote School of Business that firmly believes in “Education with Purpose”, thus beginning her journey to become a leader. Throughout her career, Shraeya has resonated more with the activities that have involved the people, building relationships and giving back to the community and this inspired her to take on the role of Finance Director, MBAA which would allow her to contribute to an all-round development of the student body by careful resource allocation and planning.

Kehgan is an alumnus of the University of Guelph. Graduating in 2012, he received an honours degree in Biomedical Sciences with a double minor in Neuroscience and Nutritional & Nutraceutical Sciences. After completing his undergraduate degree, he worked on a research project at Western University studying epileptogenesis and novel therapeutic interventions. After working in clinical research, he decided to pursue his MBA at the DeGroote School of Business, completing his first coop placement in Commercial Real Estate Development working primarily in a Project Management and Corporate Strategy role. He is thankful for the opportunity to represent his student cohort as the Operations Director and looks forward to facilitating and supporting the efforts of the MBA Association executive board in bringing opportunity and change to their fellow colleagues.
In his free time, Kehgan enjoys playing guitar, staying active, and exploring the outdoors with his two-year-old Border Collie.

Areej Shah graduated from University of Toronto, Mississauga with a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA). After working diverse marketing roles for about four years, she decided to enhance her business education through Masters in Business Administration. She feels strongly about communicating with peers, loves to learn about their individual journey and contribute to their student experience. She has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of student organizations in the past and believes that they are a great way to give back to the student community, which is why she decided to be the Communications Director of the MBA Association.

Before joining DeGroote School of Business, Sean completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at Wilfrid Laurier University. With research involvements spanning four years at WLU and uOttawa, he seeks to apply his analytical skills in a fast-paced role in which there is frequent collaboration amongst his team. Sean is passionate about student-advocacy, governance, and creating an enjoyable environment for students through extracurricular involvements. In addition, academics is a passion for Sean, which stimulated his interest in pursuing the Academic Director role on the MBA Association – a role which involves frequent liaising between staff/faculty and students to ensure that there is effective communication between parties and that the needs of students are met in partnership with administration.

Meaghan completed her undergraduate degree at McMaster University in Economics with a minor in Psychology. Meaghan plans to transition into the healthcare industry and hopes to complete the MBA program at DeGroote with a specialization in Health Services Management. She was a part of many clubs during her undergrad, where she held many roles involved with planning events for students and the other organizations. Her passion for event planning and the McMaster community made her eager to be involved with the MBAA, to help plan events that would enhance the MBA experience for all students.
