As the club executive hiring process comes to a close, please join me in congratulating the new, Class of 2019 Club Executives! They will be working hard over the next two years to ensure events at DeGroote are meaningful and add value to your MBA experience.
Do you want to develop your problem-solving skills, your presentation skills, and your ability to effectively work under pressure? Hoping to represent DeGroote at case competitions? If you answered yes, to any of these questions, then, you may be interested in the “Case Analysis and Practice” workshop series.
Led by past and current D700 students, this series of workshops and hands-on experiences will take you through case methodology and various analytical tools in more detail. This series will consist of two workshops culminating in a mini case competition. The current schedule includes:
November 7th (5:30-7:30 PM) – Presentation Basics & Openings
November 19th SUNDAY (Time TBD) – Mini Case Competition with Milena Head
All first-years interested, please register by emailing Saad Asif (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your name, undergrad major and intended MBA specialization. Attendance will be capped at 25. All registered students are expected to attend all three workshops.
The MBAA received a lot of valuable feedback from the Town Hall meeting last week and one point that was raised was that there aren’t too many reasons for students to remain on campus throughout the day.
This is why we want to ask you a question: What would you buy to keep students on campus or encourage leisure activities here at RJC?
We are inviting you all to submit a quick proposal outlining what you think would keep students on campus. Whether it’s on-campus yoga sessions or a toaster, we want to know what your thoughts are! Please include a description of your SPECIFIC idea and a cost if you can.
