Avijeet Shastry

Hi! My name is Avijeet Shastry, and I am a first-year FT-MBA candidate. I am excited to represent the student body at the MBA Association in 2022. As the Finance Director, I will ensure the MBA Association, Student Clubs, and Allied Partner Initiatives are supported efficiently through allocated funds facilitating diverse events, creating additional value for the MBA.

Avijeet has an extensive financial services background that encompasses Investment Banking and Equity Research and Advisory. Before joining DeGroote, she supported the Business Development and Operations vertical at a Boutique Investment Banking Firm in India. She also has four years of equity research, client advisory, and portfolio management experience at one of the largest Indian brokerage houses. Avijeet has a bachelor’s degree in commerce, specializing in finance, and is a CMT charter holder, Chartered Market Technician, granted by the CMT Association, New York.
