Patrick Wojtera
Hi friends,
My name is Patrick Wojtera and I am your 2026 MBA Association President! My role, in correspondence to my past campaign points as well as mandate from the MBAA Constitution, is to elevate the student experience for our MBA students, act as an intermediary between Faculty and students, and ensure planning goes smoothly for all MBA Clubs and Teams organizing additional events and initiatives for the program. Overall, here to make sure we receive and provide the best experiences for everyone involved.
A little about me: I graduated from McMaster University in 2022 completing my Bachelor of Technology in Automation Engineering Technology with a specialization in Smart Systems Automation (it’s a mouthful). Loving the business courses and leadership opportunities the program offered – I craved to learn more about the management-side of things and am now a proud DeGroote MBA student. For work – I love anything technical or data-related, ideally finding a way to mix my years of experience in industrial automation with newly learned business skills and tactics DeGroote offers. Personally, I’ve got 3 cats, live downtown Hamilton, rock climb as a hobby, and have watched each MCU movie at least 3 times. Looking forward to creating a positive atmosphere for all of us and creating an environment for future students to succeed as well.
