Zainab Choksi
Hi DeGroote Students! I’m Zainab, your Academic Director, and I’m here to advocate for you and help foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive academic environment for all students.
Whether you’re dealing with academic concerns, classroom challenges, conf lict resolution, bullying, or simply feeling overwhelmed, you do not have to navigate it alone. My role is to help ensure every student feels heard, supported, and empowered throughout their MBA journey.
A little about me, my background is in neuroscience and psychology, where I spent several years involved in mental health and health equity research. Transitioning into the MBA program allowed me to combine my passion for people, leadership, and problem-solving, while continuing to support and connect with others in meaningful ways.
Above all, I hope to help cultivate a learning environment where students feel encouraged to take risks and set up to succeed both academically and personally.
