Ziad Salem

Hi, I’m Ziad, and I am honored to serve as your MBA Association Alumni Relations Director!

My primary objective is to cultivate and sustain a robust, mutually beneficial ecosystem between the current DeGroote student body and our distinguished alumni network. In this role, I act as the strategic link between the classroom and the corporate world, overseeing initiatives that facilitate mentorship, professional development, and high-impact networking opportunities. Whether it’s coordinating “coffee chats,” panel discussions, or alumni mixers, my goal is to ensure that every student has the keys to unlock the wealth of knowledge within the DeGroote community.

My academic journey began in law school, but I chose to pursue an MBA to become truly well-versed in the intersection of business and legal strategy. I’m excited to use this unique background to create meaningful professional connections for us all. Outside of the classroom, you’ll likely find me playing sports or catching up with friends.
