Talia Shapiro
Hi everyone! My name is Talia, and I am your 2022 Internal Relations Director. By building relationships with each of you, my vision is to make a positive impact, and to advocate to provide you with the best growth opportunities throughout your MBA journey.
A little about my background… I studied communication studies at Wilfrid Laurier University and graduated in 2018. Since then, I have worked as a Management Consultant at a boutique organizational development and strategy consultancy. During my work experience, I learned that my passions lie in the human capital space. I love helping companies define their organizational culture, navigate change, and design an organizational structure that will be optimal for helping them achieve their strategy. I also recently completed my certification in change management and look forward to using those skills in my MBA and in my career!
A few fun facts… I love to travel. My favorite places that I have been to so far are Italy, Greece, Spain, and Portugal. During the summer I decided to be a tourist in Canada and travelled to Quebec and British Columbia! I also love spending time outdoors and enjoy hiking!
